Camp Stove by Night—On the road in the American Northwest.

. . . An evening meditation on the necessary
unity of Science, Art & Religion . . .

The essence of
Science is not proof;

it is rather the readiness to drop a theory or a

particular way of looking at the world

when it appears

to be contradicted by fact.

The essence of
Art is not self-expression,

nor is it embodied in systems of

aesthetic tenets or norms; it is rather

a passion to create which purifies perception

and perfects technique

so that we may receive

and make manifest

that which is harmonious and beautiful.

The essence of
Religion is not belief; it is

rather the urgent need to explore together the

sources of disorder, imbalance, conflict and waste.
