stork's-bill

November Stork's-bill (Erodium cicutarium). Introduced from Europe.

Notice the delicate purple-pink flowers in the background, with the long-tail fruit capsules
in foreground,--both on the same plant. The Stork's-bill can produce flowers any
time of year, and within 12 weeks of germination.
