Morning Mist, Quaking Aspen (Populus temuloides), South Wallowas . . .
This beautiful member of the Willow family is the most widely distributed
tree species of North America. An indicator at montane or mid-elevation
sites like this one (+-1500 meters in the Wallowas) of abundant surface
moisture.
