Black Huckleberry is a fairly low deciduous shrub of dry areas,
for ex. ecotones or edge lines of mixed oak forests; similar
to the blueberry (Vaccinium spp.)
The signature wine-red flowers are perfect in clusters on
short racemes. The fruits are black.
